Master’s Joy Family Trust is a Tucson family charity that provides funds for the cause of Christ around the world.  It offers grants to projects that range in cost from $5,000 to $10,000.  The Trust seeks to distribute approximately $100,000 annually, depending on earnings from the family’s investments.

Grant decisions are made in June and December each year.  Grant applications, submitted by way of the questionnaire below, are due May 15 to be considered in June and November 15 to be considered in December.  Grant payments are generated by June 30 and December 31 annually.  Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization or a Secretary of State registered church.

The Trust focuses on five areas of need:

Christian Education

Ministry to those experiencing financial or material hardship

Foreign Missions

Ministry to those with physical disabilities

Ministry to those who are or have been incarcerated

The name of the trust was inspired by the Parable of the Talents, which Jesus taught in the gospels.  The servants who used the talents entrusted to them to further the interests of their master were given this well-known affirmation:

“Well done, good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much.  Enter into the joy of your master.”  Matthew 25:21

It is the founder’s aim to enter into the joy of his Master, who is the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is his wonderful privilege to serve the Lord and partner with those serving Him in ministry.
